DO NOT SWALLOW.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The test can only be interpreted if the instructions are scrupulously followed. Carefully observe the times indicated.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Store between +2\u00b0C and +30\u00b0C. DO NOT FREEZE.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not use after the expiry date printed on the label and on the protective bag, or if the bag is damaged.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not reuse this test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keep out of reach of children.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After use, dispose of all components in the trash.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instructions for use<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Wait for the device to reach room temperature between 15 and 30\u00b0C before starting the test.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not eat, smoke or drink for 10 minutes before taking the test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the device immediately after opening the pouch. The test should be used within one hour of opening the pouch.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 600;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove the cassette collector <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Do not bite the sponge as it may break. Do not read results after 20 minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interpretation<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> results<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">POSITIVE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6 BANDS NOT VISIBLE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The test is positive when a band appears next to the C (control) mark and no band appears at the corresponding T mark.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should not undertake any action requiring sustained attention or concentration such as driving a vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">NEGATIVE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6 BANDS VISIBLE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The test is negative when a band appears next to the C (control) mark and a band also appears at the corresponding T mark. The intensity of the bands varies. A T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, or T6 band, even if very faint, indicates a negative result.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">INVALID<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BAND C NOT VISIBLE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The test is invalid when the control band (C mark) does not appear. This most often occurs when the instructions in the package insert are not followed. The quantity and quality of the saliva collected will be decisive for obtaining a correct result. Indeed, the result can be distorted if the test is wet before taking it, or if the quantity of saliva impregnated by the test is not sufficient. It is therefore important to remove the saliva collector only when the saturation indicator has turned pink\/red.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">I didn&#039;t apply enough saliva to the Medisur MULTIDRUG SALIVARY TEST. Will I get an accurate result?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No, if the saliva volume is not sufficient, the test may give a false negative or be invalid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">What is the purpose of the strip that appears next to the C (Control) mark?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the line next to the C mark appears, it means the Medisur multidrug saliva test worked. If the line next to the C mark does not appear, it means the test did not work. You should then start again with a new test.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">I read the result after 20 minutes. Will I get a reliable result?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No, the positive result must be read 10 minutes after the test is performed. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">MULTIDRUG SALIVARY TEST <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Medisur. A negative result can be read after 2 minutes, according to the test instructions given in the package insert. After 20 minutes, the interpretation of results is no longer reliable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">How to interpret the test if the intensity of the T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6 bands are different?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intensity of the bands is of no importance for reading the results. The bands must only be homogeneous and continuous. The appearance of low-intensity T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, and T6 bands is considered a negative result.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">What should I do if the result is positive?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the result is positive, it means that the test detected one or more drugs in the saliva.
